The Saudis are demanding the deportation of Cristiano Ronaldo because he grabbed his genitals in public

Many Saudis called for “deportation” on social media on Wednesday. Christian Ronaldo of the country, after the Portuguese star grabbed his genitals when he heard the cheers of the fans, who chanted his name Leo Messi, at the end of the match between his team, Al Nassr, and Al Hilal on Tuesday.

Lawyer Nouf bin Ahmed said on Twitter that she would file a complaint with Saudi prosecutors against the Portuguese, whom she accused of committing “crime of public indecency”. “It is considered a the crime of public shamingand it is one of the crimes that entails arrest and deportation if committed by a foreigner,” said a lawyer specializing in international law, who replayed the Portuguese’s video.

Cristiano’s action covered several hours Action ya Dawri, the most popular sports program in Saudi Arabia. According to Al Nassr sources consulted by commentator Mohamed al Anzi, the Portuguese made the gesture because “during the match he was hit” in the genitals.

Other Saudi sports journalists were harsher on the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, such as Ozman Abu Bakr, who described the action as an “immoral and indecent gesture towards the spectators” and suggested the Saudi Arabian Football Association should terminate Cristiano’s contract.

The controversy arose in a match between Al Nassr, in which Ronaldo plays, and Al Hilal, who reportedly made a multi-million bid to sign Leo Messi next season.
