The men’s trawler from Tirana won over the women’s in the Challenge that took place yesterday, in which they also competed with the passenger ship Navia, which was the first to complete the route that separates Vigo from Moaña.
With an advantage of one and a half minutes, the women’s group set sail from the transoceanic pier at 12 o’clock. After those 60 seconds, the men’s crew and the shipping company’s ship did it simultaneously. Only 200 meters from the destination point, the male crew managed to catch the female and, although they did not, took the victory.
It was an initiative organized on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the entity from Mo. The plan was for the Nabia to maintain its normal cruising speed on the Vigo-Moaña passenger routes, taking the time of thirteen minutes and 19 seconds on March 29 as a reference.
