With an astronomical salary, Paris Saint-Germain managed to keep Kylian Mbappé at the club last summer. The specialized newspaper “L’Équipe” has now published the salaries of the 30 highest paid footballers in France.
Unsurprisingly, Kylian Mbappé became PSG’s biggest earner with his new contract. How clearly he is ahead of his teammates comes as a surprise.
According to “L’Equipe”, the French superstar should collect six million francs a month. This makes him the biggest earner by a wide margin and drains Neymar by a whopping 2.325 million a month. With his monthly salary of 3.375 million PSG, Messi is only number 3 internally. Mbappé’s salary does not even include a possible loyalty bonus. If he also appears in Paris next season, another 70 million should be waving at him.
In comparison, the salaries of Marquinhos and Verrati (1.2 million) and Hakimi (1.083 million) are almost mediocre. With Donnaruma (0.916m), Ramos (0.791m), Bernat (0.73m) and Mukiele (0.7m), the entire top 10 is filled with PSG players. Only then will Embolo teammate Ben Yedder of AS Monaco become the first who does not earn his money from Parisian Croesus. He collects 650,000 a month. Embolo is not represented in the list. In total, 14 of the top 20 earners in Ligue 1 are under contract with Paris.
