A woman arrested with two loaded revolvers at a children’s soccer match in Alcobendas

National police agents arrested a 62-year-old woman of French nationality after they to exhibit a revolver at a soccer match for pre-benjamins, children between 5 and 7 years old, in Alcobendas, according to what police sources informed EFE. The woman also carried another weapon, another revolver. Both were loaded with live ammunition.

The arrest took place last Friday at around 19:15 when visitors to a match at the football field at 54 Manuel de Falla street in Madrid noticed a woman holding a firearm.

Quickly, two off-duty police officers who were following their children’s game, accompanied by two other parents, ran over to take down the woman whom no one knew in the stands.

Witnesses called 091 and a National Police patrol appeared at the scene, which finally managed to handcuff and arrest the lady, police sources told EFE.

Searching his belongings, agents found a second revolver, also loaded with six rounds, along with four flares and a can of pepper spray.

Summa 112 transferred the arrested woman, who hid her face with a wig, sunglasses and goyzers, to the Hospital Infanta Sofía, where she was admitted to the Department of Psychiatry due to a mental disorder.
