During the competition on March 12, GC fans set fire to materials from the Winterthur beer curve. An unnecessary action, but one that will not lead to a reaction.
Winterthur’s beer curve makes this known through its social channels.
Flashback: On the Thursday before the cantonal derby, there was a break-in on the Schützenwiese in Winterthur, the fan container was broken open at the beer bend and several fan paraphernalia were stolen. In the next game, these will be burned into the GC curve.
However, Winterthur’s beer corner does not want to interfere in the antics of the classification fans. For her, the action has “neither anything to do with Ultra nor with a healthy rivalry”. She continues: “Such actions should not be rewarded with fame. Burglaries and hunting dogs are an absolute taboo for us.”
Accordingly, there will be no reaction to the banner theft on Winterthur’s part. But the story will have one consequence: the FCW fans want to act more consistently against people from other fan scenes in the home sectors. These are now “no longer wanted”. (dti)
