Polish ski jumper Dawid Kubacki ends his season early. The 33-year-old announced this on Monday with an emotional post on his Instagram profile.
“I owe you information about my sudden journey home,” Kubacki writes. His wife Marta is in hospital for cardiological reasons. “She is in bad shape and doctors are fighting for her life. She is in good hands, a strong woman and I know she will fight.”
Of course his season is now over, but that is not important at the moment. The couple have two daughters together, the youngest of the two was born in January this year.
