Tristan Scherwey, what happened between game 2 and game 3 at SCB that made this Biel performance possible? Had IDo you want a conversation in the team?
We always talk together. Win or lose, we face the truth. It was 2-0 in the series, we were not happy and we knew we could do better and we showed that.

In game 3 it seemed for the first time that not the SCB but Biel would lose his head. or how do you see it?
Hard to say. I don’t remember the game well enough to give a specific answer.

But Biel took some unnecessary penalties and Mike Künzle was also ruled out for the rest of the match.
These are things that can happen. But in the end I think it was mainly a good performance from us. We deserved and got this victory.

A big problem with SCB is consistency. You have to find them now or it won’t be enough.
You are absolutely right. The consistency this season, the consistency over the years – that was always a problem. We are working on it, even if it is not always easy. But we have the character it takes to eventually achieve this consistency. Towards the end of the season there was a trend that was moving in the right direction and we are now trying to build on that.

Have you noticed the tension after losing the home game on Thursday or are you so stuck in the tunnel that you don’t notice it?

Because of Chris DiDomenico’s inglorious behavior at the end of the game.
That didn’t really bother me. I am in my own movie and in my focus. Sometimes things happen, you are close to the action and sometimes you are not directly involved. But it doesn’t matter to me: what happened, happened. After the game is before the game.

Was it always clear to you that DiDomenico still belongs on the team?
Yes, “DiDo” is one of us. We want to win with him. We know what happened and that he will leave for Friborg after this season. Why stop a player who wants to leave? But I like the way he presents himself. You can see that he wants to achieve something with Bern before he goes to his arch-rival.

Was he a big help in winning in Biel?
In each case. «DiDo» is a good player and can help us in every game. He is old enough, knows what he can do and what not to do. Ultimately, that’s none of my business. As I said, I am in my focus and dealing with myself enough. I trust him to do the right thing.
