Gabri Veiga repeats his call-up for the Spanish under-21 team

Irruption of Gabriel Veiga in Primera this season, he hinted at the invitation of the youth team Celtic by the new absolute selector, Ludovika of Izvor, but in the end it wasn’t like that. Veiga, with under-18 and under-19 experience, made his debut, playing a minute against Japan with the under-21s last November, in what would be the last appointment handled by the now absolute coach, who had not had him in mind until that point despite which stood out in the First Federation.

Celtic began the season with Celta B’s record and even started as a starter in Claudio Giráldez’s team’s league debut, against Sanse in Barreiro in a match witnessed by Eduardo Coudet. He later established himself with the first team until he fought his way into the starting eleven, where he is now a fixture, and already in the winter window, with Carlos Carvalhal as coach, he became the first team record holder.

Gabriel Veiga’s call-up joins the call-up of four other footballers from Carlos Carvalhal’s squad who the Portuguese will be without during the March break: Iago Aspas, with Spain; Joseph Aidoo, with Ghana; Jorgen Strand Larsen, with Norway and Luca de la Torre, with the United States.
