Presented by rally da Auga

The General Secretary for Sport, Xosé Ramón Lete Lasa, this afternoon presented the tenth edition of the Rally da Auga, which is part of the Spanish Gravel Rally Cup for the second year in a row, this time as the first round of the national championship. In addition, he highlighted the other eleven Galician motorcycle racing events that are part of the national road calendar -Rally Super Championship, Spanish Asphalt Cup, Historic vehicles and alternative energies and the circuit -autocross and rallycross-.

Lete Lasa reminded of the various changes of names and locations that the Water Rally has undergone since its foundation in 2014, but she assured that what always remains unchanged are the water and land that shape its spectacular route and the quality of the organizers, ADN Motora Team that will in this edition, with the help of the number ten, surround perfection.

The Ordes region -Ordes, Cerceda, Tordoia, Trazo, Mesía, Frades and Oroso- will host the rally for the first time which will also have several surprises such as the participation of teams competing in the Spanish Super Championship and numerous foreign teams from Lithuania, France or Italy.

The general secretary emphasized safety as one of the inevitable factors of the rally and warned that we all must join in the work so that motorcycling can take place without incidents.

Lete Lasa reminded that this year the Galician Automobile Association will benefit from the largest budget in the history of the Secretariat, which will reach 44 million euros. In particular, the federation receives 182,000 euros for its own cooperation contracts with Xunta, which represents an increase of 8.5% compared to 2022.
