Since this season, Harjo has been head coach of the Canadian women at the World Cup. After Marie-Theres Nadig at Swiss-Ski in the winter of 2004/05, she was the second woman to take on this role. Shiffrin also looks forward to working with Harjo again. “It’s about putting more of a spotlight on female coaches,” she told the New York Times. “I’ve already achieved a lot, but maybe at this stage of my career I can give other coaches a better idea of ​​what they can aspire to.”
