Egyptian authorities are investigating Burglary at the home of Liverpool player Mohamed Salah in Cairo, where numerous items were stolen from the Egyptian star, including one of his awards, judicial sources reported on Monday. “The new prosecutor’s office in Cairo is investigating the robbery of the villa of the player Mohamed Salah in the new city of Madinaty and the prosecutor’s office ordered the presence of some witnesses and neighbors of the player to hear his testimony about the incident and ordered the investigation to be intensified… to arrest the thieves,” the agency said in a statement.
The source confirmed that the items stolen from the home were “a large amount of money”, without specifying how much, “sports clothes and shoes, electronic devices, personal documents and one of the player’s prizes”, in addition to a television.
It was Salah’s cousin who noticed the open window in the player’s house and alerted his uncle, who officially submitted the application. The captain of the Faraona team will visit Egypt in a few days, where he will play a match against Malawi in the qualifying phase for the African Cup of Nations.
