Two days before the round of 16 of the second leg in the Champions League against Bayern (0-1 mortgage), Paris Saint-Germain announced: the season is over for Neymar.
The Brazilian striker has to undergo surgery on his right ankle, which has been injured a lot in recent years. The operation will take place in Doha in the coming days. The ligaments must be surgically repaired to prevent recurrence.
The French leaders reveal that it will be three to four months before Neymar can return to team training. PSG will play the last league game against Clermont on June 3.
