According to “Bild am Sonntag”, the ex-tennis star has signed a lucrative contract as a brand ambassador for a window company, but the content of the first TV commercial is heavy. Becker would drive it to his villa in a stylish old-timer. There he throws banknotes out of the window en masse. The former Wimbledon winner says: “Don’t throw your money out the window.”

After the shoot he explains: “Money is and was important to me, but the mockery is of course satire and self-mockery.” But his creditors are no longer smiling. So someone grumbles: “Becker’s time in prison was clearly too short. He lives in his own world, hiding reality – just like before his imprisonment.”

Creditors are angry

Another believer tells the German tabloid: “Embarrassing advertising! If Becker at least used the fee to pay off his debts, this embarrassing action would at least serve a good purpose. But so far Becker has spent every penny he he earns pocketed. And he wants to be a role model for younger people and tip them money?”
