Walliser wins Formula 2 opener!

class=”sc-97fd9fa8-0 jNFKxv”>

Sensation at the start of Formula 2: Ralph Boschung from Valais wins the sprint race in Bahrain.

In his 96th Formula 2 outing (!) the Swiss Ralph Boschung takes the opportunity for the sprint race.

Because the order of qualifying in the first ten positions was reversed. For example, “pole man” Pourchaire of the Sauber Academy had to start tenth – and Boschung took pole position tenth in the chase of times.

Pourchaire is fifth

Boschung leads from start to finish on lap 13. His smart tire management gave him a clear victory – eleven seconds ahead of Norwegian Hauger and 16 seconds ahead of Frenchman Martins. Pourchaire finished fifth behind Japan’s Iwasa.

Particularly impressive: Boschung always has to scrape together the money for his hobby himself with sponsors and patrons. His family does not support him.
