The Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi won the main stage of the World Championship on the small hill in Trondheim. The multiple winner of the Four Hills Tournament this year won with flights of 106 m and 99 m.
Austrian Stefan Kraft took 5th place and kept the damage limited with an eye on the large crystal ball. With Gregor Deschwanden (13th) and Killian Peier (20th), two Swiss ended up in the top twenty.
Kraft remains in the lead in the overall standings of the Raw Air Tour, a four-race series in Norway. Deschwanden is in sixteenth place after five of the nine laps.
The world championships in the Scandinavian disciplines will take place in Trondheim next winter. On Wednesday there will be jumping on the newly constructed large hill. (SDA)
