Pietreczko felt mocked by this. “I really appreciated that he could play like that at such an age. But I hope the arrogance punishes him,” he sharply criticized the reigning vice world champion on Instagram. He has since deleted the post.

Littler initially spoke out in a Facebook group, as various English media reported: “I have no idea what I did wrong, no idea what he said. He said something and ‘don’t do it again.'” He later repeated this to Sky, explaining that his choice of pitch was solely related to his preferences for individual pitches.
