Jonas Vingegaard secures the overall victory in Tirreno-Adriatico. In the less demanding final stage, the Danish Tour de France winner easily defended his lead.
After his victories over the previous two days, the 27-year-old can sit back and relax at the end of the Italian tour. The victory in the final stage of 154 km went to 23-year-old Italian Jonathan Milan in the sprint.
For Vingegaard it is the first overall success in the Tirreno-Adriatico. In his first participation two years ago he finished second behind Tadej Pogacar. (SDA/dti)
