Mike Tyson lets his fists fly again.

Mike Tyson (57) wants to know again. The boxing legend returns to the ring on July 20. The multiple world boxing champion will compete with influencer and YouTube star Jake Paul (27).

AT&T Stadium in Dallas will serve as the venue. The arena in the state of Texas has a capacity of 100,000 people and is the largest stadium in the NFL. The fight will be broadcast on Netflix. Any subscriber to the streaming platform can watch the exhibition fight.

The trash talk begins

“I want to be a world champion, and now I have the chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion in the world, the toughest man in the world and the most dangerous boxer of all time,” Paul writes on Instagram, making an announcement to Tyson: “Time, iron “To put Mike to sleep.”

Tyson is looking forward to the duel with Paul: “Paul has developed considerably as a boxer over the years. “So it will be a lot of fun to see what a child’s will and ambition can do with the experience and skills of a GOAT,” he says in a press release.

Tyson is already training hard

The signs for the fight couldn’t be more different. Tyson was last in the ring more than three years ago in an exhibition fight against Roy Jones Jr. His last fight as an active boxer was in 2005 against Irish boxer Kevin McBride (defeat by TKO in the 6th round).

Paul became known as a YouTuber and started his boxing career in 2020. The American’s big goal is to become world champion. His record is nine wins from ten fights. He only lost to Tommy Fury, half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson.

There have been rumors of a Tyson comeback for a while now. The American has been training intensively lately. A fight against former Russian MMA fighter Fedor Emelianenko was on the card. However, Tyson’s management recently denied the rumors. (mab)
