An untimely crisis. On the home stretch of qualifying, the EVZ no longer gets going – on the contrary. The residents of Zug have not yet managed to stop the negative streak. Instead, we must simply be willing to pay the price for both goals.

There is no way for the Zug team to respond to Bern’s goal after 30 seconds or their new lead 46 seconds before the second break. “It cannot be that this will pull the plug on our lives,” says Suri, adding even more criticism. There are four more competitions (Langnau, Zurich, Geneva, Lausanne) on the program for the EVZ. So four games to trigger a trend reversal. “In the past fifteen years I have never found the button that suddenly makes everything work again,” says Suri, “now it is a character test for the play-offs.”
