But many of them are gathering for a crisis meeting because of Tuesday’s bobsleigh tragedy, when Swiss pusher Sandro Michel (27) was seriously injured in a horror accident.

No head or back injuries for Michel

Meanwhile, Michel remains in the intensive care unit of the University Hospital in Dresden and his condition is stable. Michel underwent a second operation on Thursday on the hip area, which left him seriously injured in the devastating collision with the overturned bobsled. Pilot Michael Vogt back in Switzerland

Pilot Michael Vogt (26), who suffered a severe concussion in the crash, as well as the slightly injured pushers Andreas Haas (27) and Dominik Hufschmid (25) have now returned to Switzerland. A Vogt start at the World Cup in Winterberg (D) at the end of the month is completely open.
