Michelle Heimberg has to deal with a big disappointment at the World Cup in Doha. The 23-year-old from Aargau has to settle for 33rd place in qualifying on the three-meter board.
Heimberg is on course for the semi-finals after two of the five jumps. However, in the third she made a big mistake while diving, which dropped her far down the rankings. The European champion on the 1m board also missed a starting place for the Olympic Games in Paris.
For Madeline Coquoz, the competition is only doing slightly better. The woman from Freiburg, who is two years older, is in 30th place in the rankings. (SDA)
