She suffered “only” a boot edge contusion – a painful bruise on her leg near the top of the ski boot, which forced her to take a break.

Now there is good news from the ski all-rounder. She posted a photo on Instagram of herself beaming at the camera with two thumbs up. “Back into the snow and back on track,” Gisin writes. Her injury healed about a week and a half after the fall. She is back on skis and preparing for a comeback.
