Super League

In Switzerland, YB again tops the rankings. But the reigning national champion is playing slightly less dominantly this season than in previous years. An opportunity for the competition? Their pursuer Servette is six points behind the Bernese team and can still hope to win their first championship title in 25 years. But the Genevans need an exploit in the second half of the season. The new mode with the division of the competition after 33 rounds should also make the championship fight even more exciting.

Bundesliga

Title match in Germany! Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich are playing as a pair for the German championship this year. Granit Xhaka’s (31) Werkself currently has a two-point lead over Bayern, with a direct match in Leverkusen on Saturday. To maintain their lead at the table, Bayer cannot lose. It is already clear: the title battle in the Bundesliga promises excitement until the end.

Premier League

Everything on the island comes down to a three-way battle for the title. Leader Liverpool is two points ahead of their first two pursuers, Arsenal and Manchester City. The reigning three-time winner with Manuel Akanji (28) has currently played one match less than the direct competition. In the meantime, surprise team Aston Villa, five points behind, can still hope for a sensation.

La Liga

Surprise team Girona is still hot on the heels of Real Madrid. The Royals currently have a two-point lead at the top of the table. The top battle will also take place here on Saturday in the Bernabéu. There is a lot of space behind them, Barcelona is already eight points behind the leader.

League 1

The battle for the title already seems to have been decided among our western neighbors, with PSG in the lead, eight points ahead of Nice. If everything goes normally, the title will go to the capital for the sixth time in seven years – then the star ensemble around Kylian Mbappé (25) should celebrate the twelfth national title in the club’s history in the summer.

Portuguese League

The Portuguese league is currently firmly in the hands of the capital Lisbon. Record champion Benfica tops the rankings, two points ahead of city rivals Sporting, who have played one match less. Behind them, Porto is in third place, six points behind.

Super League

A strange picture emerges in Turkey. At the top of the rankings, the two Istanbul clubs Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe are tied with 63 points. Then nothing happens for a long time, third-placed Besiktas is no less than 24 points (!) behind the top duo. After Galatasaray won the title last year, the Turkish champion is also from Istanbul this season.

Premier League

Clear picture in the Netherlands. Champions League round 16 PSV Eindhoven is clearly in the lead in the Eredivisie, with pursuer Feyenoord already ten points behind. Peter Bosz’s team (60) has won 18 of the 20 matches so far and drew twice. If Eindhoven continues this impressive run, it can now prepare to celebrate the 24th national title in club history. It would be the first since 2018.

First Division

A long dry period may be coming to an end in Belgium. Royale Union Saint-Gilloise (with ex-Lausanne star Cameron Puertas, 25) leads the rankings with ten points and is chasing its first championship title since 1935. Thanks to a new mode, the six best-placed teams play in play-offs with home and away games Master away. Despite the big lead, Sint-Gillis’ title win is not yet clear.

Austrian Bundesliga

Series champion RB Salzburg is having a more difficult time this year than before. The Bulls lead the table with a two-point lead over Sturm Graz. The competition is also split in Austria and the best six teams play for the title in a championship round. Unlike in Switzerland, the points are also divided. An exciting championship fight between Salzburg and Graz should be imminent.
