Viktorija Golubic (WTA 71) starts the WTA 250 tournament in Hua Hin, Thailand with a confident victory. She beats the Brazilian Laura Pigossi (WTA 114) 6:1, 6:2.

The 31-year-old from Zurich takes advantage of her opponent’s poor serve, getting through only one of her seven service games and scoring her first match point after 1:15 hours. The two players have never faced each other on the WTA tour before.
