Two of the four Swiss made it to the second day of the Ski Flying World Championships, including Gregor Deschwanden.

The Swiss cannot keep up with the best in the first half of the Ski Flying World Championships in Bad Mitterndorf, Austria. Gregor Deschwanden (32) is in 26th place after two jumps, Simon Amman (42) is in 28th place.

The other two Swiss starters, Remo Imhof (31st) and Sandro Hauswirth (32nd), barely made it into the top 30 in the first round, which is necessary to progress. Deschwanden achieved the longest jump of the Swiss quartet in the second round with 200.5 meters.
