The Edmonton Oilers are simply unstoppable right now. The 4-1 win against the Columbus Blue Jackets was the 14th straight victory for the team led by Connor McDavid, who contributed a goal. The Oilers haven’t left the ice as losers since December 20 of last year.
The Oilers have extended the record for the longest winning streak by a Canadian team and are not far off the league record set by the Pittsburgh Penguins with 17 straight wins in the 1992-1993 season.
