Cup holders PSV spoils Sparta, Den Bosch-Ajax and Feyenoord-PEC

PSV start their hunt for an extension of the KNVB Cup with an away game against Sparta Rotterdam. Ajax and Feyenoord were linked to clubs from the first division.

Ajax visit FC Den Bosch, currently number eighteen in the Kitchen Champion Division. Feyenoord plays at home against PEC Zwolle, who is currently third.

The second round of the KNVB Cup will be played on Tuesday 10th, Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th January. Clubs active in Europe go into this round.

An away game against Excelsior was planned for AZ. With Heerenveen and Volendam there are still two Eredivisie clubs facing each other.
