Bloemendaal ice hockey players won the top game against Oranje-Rood with convincing numbers. It was 3-0 for the home team at ‘t Kopje.

The difference was soon made. Thierry Brinkman’s eighth league goal put the defending champions ahead after six minutes with a cannonball and before the end of the first quarter Arthur van Doren, who intercepted a scoop from Joep de Mol, made it 2-0.
