Nico Hischier makes a big impression in the NHL in the first game of the new year for the New Jersey Devils. The Valais native is a dual scorer and passer in the 6-3 win over the Washington Capitals.
Hischier cannot go fast enough this season with his goals 9 and 10. The captain gives his team an early 2-0 lead. He scored a first time after three minutes and a second time in the power play after almost ten minutes.
Hischier is also involved in the Devils’ third goal. He was one of the passers in Canada’s Dawson Mercer’s 3-1 win in the second period, scoring three points for the first time in this championship.
