Nothing will come of the comeback of Nick Kyrgios (28) at the 2024 Australia Open. The Australian canceled his participation in the Grand Slam tournament in his home country. After knee surgery in January and problems with his wrist, the former number 13 in the world had to miss all major tournaments last year.
Kyrgios left it open when a return to the tennis stage could be expected. Last month, the 28-year-old said winning a Grand Slam tournament was still his biggest motivation after coming close at Wimbledon in 2022 when he lost in four sets to Novak Djokovic in the final.
The Australian announced on Friday that he can now be found on the social media platform ‘OnlyFans’. “It gets even crazier!” he writes on his Instagram profile. Kyrgios will share his life “behind the scenes and everything from the court to everyday life” with his fans.
The news naturally provoked many reactions. OnlyFans is mainly known for erotic content, but the platform can also be used for regular short videos and photos. (SDA/jsl)
