His wife Anika Bissel (23) announced this on Instagram. On Tuesday morning she changed her name to Anika Neuer. As “Bild” also knows, the wedding took place in the nearest family circle.
The newlyweds only got engaged at the end of September, but they have been together for about three years. Simultaneously with the engagement, it was also announced that the handball player and the 2014 world champion are expecting their first child together. This is Neuer’s second marriage. At the end of 2019, the footballer divorced his first wife Nina (30), with whom he was married for three years. They met in 2014 when Neuer received his own wax figure at Madame Tussauds in Berlin.
