Andy Murray (36) is divorcing his coach Ivan Lendl (63) for the third time. Murray won all three of his Grand Slam titles under Lendl. That’s why he rehired him in March 2022. Since then, the Scot has managed to get back into the top 50 of the world rankings (42nd place) after hip problems. But the great successes that were hoped for did not materialize.
Lendl’s reluctance to move far away from his base in the US is said to have been one of the reasons why the two are now ending their partnership again. Lendl already trained Murray from 2013 to 2014 and then from 2016 to 2017. (SDA)
