National coach Julian Nagelsmann (36) promises former goalkeeper Manuel Neuer (37) a return to the national team in March. “We all hope that he plays extremely consistently until the next international break, then the signs will look very different again,” Nagelsmann said on Friday when he nominated his team for the matches against Turkey (November 18) and in Austria (November 21).

After a long injury break, Neuer is showing strong performances again at Bayern Munich, but as agreed he is not there yet. “That was a joint decision.
