A Paris St. Germain supporter was stabbed before the French football champions’ Champions League match at AC Milan (9 p.m. in Blick’s live ticker). As Italian police announced, the person was “seriously injured by two stab wounds to the leg” by masked attackers in Milan on Monday evening and then taken to a hospital.
The newspaper “Corriere della Sera” reported that the injured party was a 34-year-old man whose life was not believed to be in danger. Witnesses told police that about fifty Milanese and French met in the Navigli district of the northern Italian metropolis during the knife attack.
Less than two months ago, a British supporter of Newcastle United was also stabbed in the same area before an away match in the Premier League in Milan. (AFP/dti)
