Swiatek, who ended the season with a show of strength a month after her victory at the WTA 1000 tournament in Beijing, is at the top of the world rankings for the second time in a row. She displaces Aryna Sabalenka from first place, whom she defeated 6:3 6:2 in the semi-finals the previous day.
