After reports from Palestine: Bayern will not throw Mazraoui out

Noussair Mazraoui remains part of the FC Bayern Munich squad.

The pro-Palestine post by Noussair Mazraoui (25) has caused a lot of discussion in the football world. In it he linked a video in which the Palestinians were said to be supported in the conflict with Israel. Politicians then called on FC Bayern Munich to kick out their player.

However, he now announces that there will be no sanctions against the Moroccan: “Noussair Mazraoui will remain in the FC Bayern selection.” After talks were announced at the beginning of this week, the full-back had to train alone. Apparently, this is due to an injury he sustained while playing for the national team, which has him currently out of action.

In the statement of the German record champion, general manager Jan-Christian Dreesen (56) once again emphasizes that Bavaria condemns the ‘Hamas attack on Israel’. Mazraoui also condemns “any form of terrorism and any terrorist organization.” He had “credibly assured the club’s management that, as a peace-loving person, he firmly rejects terror and war.” (ch)
