Filip Ugrinic is the biggest winner of the update with an increase of 1.3 million francs.

The football platform Transfermarkt has published new market values for the Super League. The website community determines the numbers taking into account different pricing models. The goal is not to determine a player’s actual resale value, but rather an expected value – depending on age, performance and potential.

Ugrinic wins, Jashari loses

The latest interim update is shaking up Swiss market values. Ardon Jashari (21) has to accept a loss of almost a million francs in the 22/23 season after a failed European U21 Championship, a failed transfer from Basel and initial difficulties. With a market value of the equivalent of 6.1 million francs, he is still the most valuable player in the Super League, but only just ahead of YB player Meschak Elia (5.6 million).

The biggest winner of the update is YB midfielder Filip Ugrinic (24). His plus of 1.2 million francs is due to his strong performances in the premier class and his first appearance in the national team in September. With a market value of 3.8 million, he is in eleventh place. Ugrinic’s clubmate Aurèle Amenda (20) is also among the winners. The market value of the U21 national team player increases from 1.8 to 2.8 million francs.

Hitz was the biggest loser in percentage terms

But YB has not only winners, but also losers: Kastriot Imeri (lost almost a million francs), Darian Males (minus 750,000) and David von Ballmoos (a million less). FCB goalkeeper Marwin Hitz (36) lost the most in percentage terms. It loses as much as 60 percent of its previous value. New market value: almost 200,000 Swiss francs. (sbe/par)
