Granit Xhaka’s (31) start at Bayer Leverkusen could not have gone better. After seven games, unbeaten Leverkusen were top of the Bundesliga, with Xhaka shining in his role as midfield leader and drawing praise from all sides. A look at the sales figures of Leverkusen jerseys now shows that the Nati captain is also becoming a fan favourite.
A list from “ZDF Sportstudio” shows which jersey of each Bundesliga team has sold the best so far. At Leverkusen, Granit Xhaka’s jersey with the number 34 is the big seller.
Xhaka’s shirt is therefore more popular than that of striker Victor Boniface, Bayer Leverkusen’s other mega acquisition, who has already scored seven goals in the first seven games.
