The 2027 European Figure Skating Championships will take place in Switzerland. The International Ice Skating Federation ISU has appointed Lausanne as host.
Lausanne, host of the European Championships in 1992 and 2002 and the 1997 World Cup, defeated entries from Bulgaria (Sofia), Germany (Essen) and Slovakia (Bratislava). The competition of the 150 best skaters in Europe will take place in January in the Vaudoise Aréna, where Lausanne HC plays its home games. (SDA)
