Serious accusations from the Ostkurve Bern to the Zurich police: In a statement, the fans criticized the police action on September 30 before the match between GC and YB. To this end, they especially criticize the short-term ban on the fan march, the inadequate communication on site and the concealment of the reasons for the measures taken. They also accuse the police of using rubber bullets, pepper spray and tear gas without any reason.
The Zurich city police reject these accusations. Accordingly, the decision and reasons for the march ban would have been communicated well before the arrival of the special train in Zurich-Altstetten. “The conditions for a march in Zurich have not changed for years,” said media spokesman Pascal Siegenthaler.
