Bootcamp with great prizes and more options: Now you can train for the slider championship!

class=”sc-29f61514-0 icZBHN”>

Do you eat better than your friends at the regular table, your mother-in-law or your colleagues? Then prove it and take part in the largest Jass tournament in the country! Both the qualifying tournaments and semi-finals of the 7th Swiss Sliding Championships will be held online at jass.ch. If you score 1150 points or more in the qualifying tournament, you will automatically advance to the semi-finals. The top 100 semi-finalists and the defending champion will play for the Jass crown during the final tournament at the Theater Casino Zug on November 18, 2023.

Get ready for qualifying

This year the chance of qualifying is particularly high. On the one hand, you can train as often as you want during the bootcamp on jass.ch until the start of the qualification phase (October 6, 2023). This not only increases your skills, but also your chances of reaching the semi-finals. Because every Jasser who becomes fit for qualification during the boot camp receives five extra games that can be used as desired during the qualification phase. That’s not all: the three participants with the highest scores in a game will receive a Coop voucher worth 100 francs.

On the other hand, this year there is also Trump Sunday (October 8, 15 and 22), on which five matches can be played. Usually there are two per day. But that’s not all: with the “Invite Friends” function there are additional chances to qualify for the semi-finals. There are two bonus games for every new person that you can motivate to participate in the qualifying tournament on jass.ch.

Prizes worth 80,000 francs

It’s worth participating! During the qualification phase, 15 Coop vouchers worth 100 francs will be raffled among all participants. Anyone who uses the ‘Invite Friends’ function will automatically be entered into the draw of 10 scratch card packages worth R100 each. By the way: the more friends you invite, the greater your chance of winning.

Everyone who has qualified for the final tournament will receive a gift package worth at least 700 francs. Anyone who can put on the Jass crown on November 18 can – in addition to the trophy of course – look forward to a Coop shopping voucher worth 4,000 francs and extra goodies.

Wildcard for the defending champions

Last year the Jass-Krone to Rüebliland went to Walter Steiner (61) from Muri. “It was a rollercoaster ride that ended on a high,” the machine mechanic said shortly after his victory. With a wildcard he can defend his title at this year’s slide championship. Will he succeed? After all, when it comes to hunting, not only skill, but also luck with the cards is crucial. In any case, we keep our fingers crossed for all Jass enthusiasts who participate in the qualification.
