In September, a new phase of life began for Sergio Ramos (37): he moved from PSG to his hometown to youth club Sevilla.
It is a start that the well-known professional (4x CL winner, 5x Spanish champion with Real Madrid) will not look back on with pleasure. But sports has nothing to do with it. The reason: Ramos’ house was recently looted!
While he was playing with his new club in the Champions League against Lens (September 20, 1-1), burglars gained unauthorized access to his house near Seville.
The football professional’s four children and two caregivers were present during the burglary, during which jewelry, various watches, cash and designer clothing were stolen. No one was injured.
Ramos’ wife Pilar Rubio (45), a TV presenter by profession, was not present for professional reasons. According to Spanish media, the case is currently being investigated by the police.
Thieves had already gained unauthorized access to Ramos’ house in 2012. At that time, the defensive star was still playing for Real Madrid. When the perpetrators noticed that Ramos and his brother René were in the house, they fled.
