Steven Zuber (32) makes his own advertisement in Greece: the 52-time Swiss national player shoots in the prestigious city derby Panathinaikos of Athens on Monday evening.
After falling behind early, Zuber leveled the match after 36 minutes with his third goal of the season. In the second half it was the Tösstal player who again became the decisive figure: in the 68th minute he set up teammate Orbelin Penada (27) for the winning goal.
In the end, AEK turned the game around and won the derby – thanks to two goals from their Swiss attacking player. A wave of the fence post to national coach Murat Yakin. The last time he moved in together, he left Zuber at home. With performances like these, the veteran is pushing for a return. (sbe)
