The door to the Tigers’ locker room remained closed a little longer. Not surprising after the 7-0 slap in the face in Bern. When coach Thierry Paterlini stepped out, he said he still hadn’t even spoken to the team. The reason? “So everyone can calm their emotions. The meeting is only in 15 minutes.”
There’s plenty to talk about. Twenty goals conceded in three games. Comfortless. “It is understandable that there is a lot of frustration,” says Paterlini, who reacts calmly and controlled to the outside world. The team had so much energy in the first game of the season, but not in the next three games. ‘There is no explanation for this. But now there’s no point in pointing the finger at anyone.”
