Injury shock for Kastriot Imeri (23): YB’s attacking player suffered an outer ligament injury in his right knee, YB said in a statement. That is why the reigning Swiss champion will have to make do without Imeri for a number of weeks. No surgery is necessary. Instead, he undergoes conservative treatment.
The 23-year-old national player switched from Servette to YB last year. Since then, he has played a total of 41 games and recorded thirteen points (7 goals / 6 assists). He has played eight games so far this season. However, he only played 90 minutes in the Swiss Cup against FC Breitenrain, where he also scored his only goal of the current season.
