Ambri’s star striker Dominic Zwerger (27) went through a terrible time in the summer of 2022 due to panic attacks. “One day I got up and the world was still completely fine and the next day I thought to myself: if I take one step out of bed, I will fall over and be dead,” says Zwerger in the documentary “Dominic Zwerger – between heaven and hell.
In the documentary series ‘Inside Plus’ by MySports in collaboration with Blick, he speaks with an openness that awakens. The crowd favorite also describes his panic attacks in an impressive way in Sven Schoch’s film. For example, with the sentence: “At that moment you think that the soul leaves your body and looks down on you from above. And you really think it’s over.”
