The Kadetten Schaffhausen celebrate a confident 29:24 home win against BSV Bern and take over the top of the rankings in the NLA.

After an even start, Schaffhausen’s team took the lead for the first time in the 12th minute and never relinquished it. In the second half, the Swiss champions controlled the game and kept the Bernese at bay. The goalkeeping duo of Kristian Pilipovic and Julien Meyer especially impressed with high defense percentages of 48 and 58 percent respectively.

Thanks to the victory, the cadets, who started the season with a draw, overtook Kriens-Luzern in the rankings and are the new leaders. The Central Swiss had to settle for a 25:25 at the bottom team Kreuzlingen this weekend. (SDA)
