Shock for the Spanish record champions: As “El Confidencial” first reported on Thursday, four Real Madrid players are said to be in police custody. The suspicion: The football players allegedly filmed a sex video with a minor and then distributed it on WhatsApp.
The club responded to the report on Thursday evening and confirmed that four players had been questioned by police about distributing a ‘private’ video. Who exactly this is is not specified. But what is clear: the players are part of the Real academy “La Fabrica” and play in the second and third teams.
According to “El Confidencial”, there is also the possibility that players from the Fanion team are involved in the scandal. Not as the author or distributor of the video, but possibly as the recipient. What happens next is completely open. Police are said to have seized the mobile phones of the accused players for investigation.
