Shortly before the end of the transfer period, Leonardo Bonucci (36) moved from Juventus Turin to Union Berlin.
But the 2021 Italian European champions are not quite done with their old club yet. As Italian media report, Bonucci wants to sue Juve for damages. This is because the training and preparation conditions were inadequate and he therefore sees a professional disadvantage and damage to his image.
Apparently Bonucci had to train alone at Juve in the evening and had no contact with the coaching team. He was also allegedly denied access to the fitness room, among other things. The player sees this as a strategy aimed at forcing his departure.
According to reports, Bonucci does not want to start a small war with Juventus. Instead, he wants to set an example for footballers in a similar situation. As transfer expert Fabrizio Romano (30) writes on social media, Bonucci plans to donate the compensation.
