Super League goalkeeper moves up: Gregor Kobel drops out of the national team

Gregor Kobel is out due to thigh problems.

On Tuesday evening, Gregor Kobel (24) should have been in goal for the Swiss national team against Andorra. But nothing comes of it, the BVB goalkeeper has to miss the match due to an injury.

As the Swiss national team announced on Monday morning, Kobel is suffering from mild discomfort in his thigh. He is now replaced by Anthony Racioppi (24). The YB goalkeeper receives his first selection of the national team.

But Kobel won’t go away. He remains with the national team and trains individually. (bjl)
